This is for all you procrastinators out there, don’t you worry, we got you sorted! Here are my top tips for last minute Christmas shopping, filled with unisex gifts that will be appreciated.
Scented candles – A great hostess/host gift that most people will appreciate and you can find to fit your budget. A nice unisex scent, although a bit pricey, is the Tobacco candle by Malin + Goetz.
Pajamas – Because lets face it, who doesn’t love spending the day in pajamas. My favorites are from Intimissimi, beautiful cotton for comfort with a lace trim for glam. GAP makes great pajama bottoms for men, every man in my family has a pair, and I have two 😉
Scarves – There are endless choices for this gift. You can go for a fine wool and silk scarf with beautiful patterning and rich color, usually found at a fancy men’s department* Or you can go for a big lovely wool scarf. & Other Stories has an oversized one that looks amazing, comes in many different colors.
Speakers – Because no one deserves bad sound, truly. This can run away in price quite quickly but there are some great budget versions out there as well. Have a look online to compare quality, features and price before hitting the stores (if you can’t order in time for Christmas that is). Looking for that ultimate portable speaker that has as much interior design cred as it has good sound? You’d better go for the Beoplay A2 by Bang & Olufsen, or the A1 if you want to be even more portable.
Something homemade – If you’d rather spend time at home, than in the shops these coming days this one is for you. Giving something you’ve made yourself, be it scented bath salt, Christmas caramels, homemade knäckebröd or your own seasoned schnaps, is the ultimate gift that every one can and will appreciate.
That’s it for my last minute gift shopping guide. I really hope you enjoyed it and that you got some good ideas, and inner peace, for those last Christmas gifts.
*However, I wouldn’t mind getting one of those even if they are meant for gentlemen
